1. Data Controller
Centre Algos Sàrl, represented by Wilfried Beijersbergen, Rue de Romont 20, 1700 Fribourg, Switzerland (“we,” “Centre Algos”) is responsible for processing your personal data in connection with this website.
For any questions about this policy or your data, you can contact us at info@centrealgos.com or by phone at +41 26 320 04 50.
2. What data do we collect, and why?
We only collect personal data when you provide it to us voluntarily, specifically:
Callback / consultation request: name, phone number, email address, and message (optional). This information is used exclusively to contact you back and arrange an appointment.
Contact form: name, email, and message, used to respond to your inquiry.
If your message includes information about your health, it is handled with particular care and used only to prepare for your care — never for any other purpose.
We only collect advertising measurement data with your consent (see section 6) and do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
3. Legal Basis
Processing of your data is based on your consent, freely given when you fill out one of our forms.
4. Retention Period
Callback or consultation request: your contact details are kept for 12 months if no appointment takes place, then deleted.
Messages sent through the contact form: 12 months after our last exchange.
Patient record: if you become a patient, your patient records are kept for 20 years, the retention period recommended by the Swiss Naturopathy Association and corresponding to the applicable liability limitation period for bodily-harm claims.
Usage measurement: Google Analytics 4 retains measurement data for at most 14 months, after which Google deletes it. We only review aggregated statistics (pages viewed, language, type of action).
Once these periods expire, the data is deleted or permanently anonymized.
5. Where is your data stored?
Your data is hosted by our technical provider (Lovable, on infrastructure provided by Supabase / Amazon Web Services) in the Dublin data centre in Ireland (eu-west-1 region, European Union).
Some third-party services used by this website may involve processing data abroad. Processing locations, recipients and applicable conditions must be specified after verification with each provider. We cannot confirm that all processing is restricted to Switzerland and the European Economic Area.
6. Cookies and Third-Party Services
Google Ads and Google Analytics: our site may use Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited) to measure callback requests and phone calls coming from our ads, and Google Analytics 4 for usage measurement. These services are only loaded, through the Google tag (Google Tag Manager / gtag.js), after your consent. We apply Google Consent Mode v2: the ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage signals are “denied” by default and only switch to “granted” for the categories you accept — “Usage measurement (Google Analytics)” for analytics_storage, “Advertising conversion measurement (Google Ads)” for the three advertising signals.
Data collected: pages viewed, language, type of action (callback request submitted, click on the phone number), ad click identifier (gclid), date and time, device and browser type, IP address (processed by Google). We never send Google the content of your forms, your name, email address, phone number or any health information.
Purpose: to measure how many callback requests and calls come from our ads, so we can assess their usefulness and improve the site.
Retention: Google Ads conversion cookies (e.g. _gcl_au) are kept for at most 90 days; Google Analytics data for at most 14 months, after which Google deletes it. Google may process this data outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States.
Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy — how Google uses advertising technologies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Withdrawing consent: you can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer. Withdrawal takes effect immediately; the related measurement cookies are deleted and no further data is sent.
Usage measurement with Google Analytics 4: we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how our website is used and to improve it. Google Analytics is only activated after you consent to the “Usage measurement (Google Analytics)” category; it may then set cookies or use similar identifiers. What is measured: pages viewed, language and a few key actions (clicks on “Book on OneDoc”, phone taps, email clicks, request form submissions, confirmed newsletter sign-ups). Until you consent, no Google script is loaded, no measurement is sent and no measurement cookie is created. Google advertising signals stay permanently disabled. We never intentionally send Google Analytics your form contents, your name, your email address, your telephone number, symptoms, a diagnosis or any other health information. You can refuse usage measurement and withdraw your consent at any time in the privacy settings, reachable from the footer.
YouTube video (Percutaneous Hydrotomy page): the video is embedded in cookie-free mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only loads if you start it; playback then results in data processing by Google/YouTube under their own privacy policy.
Google Maps (Access and parking page): displaying the map transmits your IP address to Google, under their own privacy policy.
Fonts: Fraunces and Manrope are hosted and served with our website files. Loading these fonts does not require a request to Google Fonts servers.
Email delivery: We use Brevo through our technical provider Lovable for form notifications, confirmations and newsletters. Contact details and content needed for these messages are transmitted to this service. Form entries may include sensitive information; please provide only the information necessary for your request.
Google reviews: Through our technical provider, our server retrieves the public Centre Algos rating and review count from Google Places. These statistics are stored for display on the website. This synchronisation does not send form contents or patient information to Google and does not load a Google reviews widget in your browser.
OneDoc online booking: the booking button redirects you to the OneDoc website (Switzerland), which applies its own privacy policy.
Hosting: our hosting providers keep technical logs (IP address, timestamp and page requested) for security and operational purposes, retained for a limited period.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
8. Your Rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and object to the processing of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address listed in Section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in Bern.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
